Summary card - quick health check

The Summary panel gives you a quick health check of your issue's progress.

  • Cycle Time — Total time from when work started to completion

    • Working — Time spent in active work statuses (shown as percentage of cycle time)

    • Wait — Time spent waiting between handoffs (shown as percentage of cycle time)

  • Time in backlog — How long the issue sat before work began

  • Status indicator (border color)

    • Compares this issue against similar completed work

  • Status border color meaning

    • “Progressing faster” (green) - issue is progressing faster than 50% of similar work

    • "On track" (blue) means the issue is progressing within normal range

    • “Taking longer” (orange) - issue is taking longer than 85% of similar work

    • “Exceeded worst case” (red) - is progressing slower than 95% of similar work

Forecast card - know how long similar work takes

Predicts how long your issue will take based on similar completed work of the same type.

  • Based on X stories from [board] — Predictions are based on completed issues of the same type from your selected board.

  • Likely — The typical duration (50th percentile). Half of similar work completed faster than this.

  • Plan for — A safer estimate for planning (85th percentile). Most similar work completed within this time.

  • Worst — The outer bound (95th percentile). Only 5% of similar work took longer than this.

  • Variation indicator — Flags when similar work has inconsistent durations

    • "Very high variation detected" means predictions are less reliable

    • Click "Understand why" to see what's causing the variation

Timeline view - full history of every transition

The Timeline shows a detailed log of every status change, who made it, and when.

  • Status transition — Shows the from → to status change (e.g., "To Do → In Progress")

  • Work type label — Indicates what kind of time was spent:

    • BACKLOG — Issue waiting to be started

    • WORKING — Active work in progress

    • WAITING — Idle time between handoffs (e.g., waiting for review)

  • Duration — How long the issue stayed in that status

  • Who — The team member who made the transition

  • When — Date and time of the transition
