Note: If you can’t find the menu item as described below, you have Smart Guess Free installed, which doesn’t include Silent Estimation.
Install Smart Guess Pro to use Silent Estimation.

Step by step instructions

1a. The old Jira UI

  1. Open your project

  2. In the Jira left hand menu

  3. Click the Silent Grouping menu item

1b. The New Jira UI (Feb. 2025)

  1. Open your project

  2. In the tabs section at the top

  3. Click → More

  4. Click Silent Grouping from the drop down
